The 5th Annual Atheist Film Festival is ready to take on the Father, the Son, and the silver screen at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco on Saturday, September 14th.
Join us for six sensational secular films that question religious dogma in creative, determined, and highly personal ways. The official 2013 lineup includes the WORLD PREMIERE of Hug An Atheist, with visiting director Sylvia Broeckx on hand to answer questions and maybe even give hugs. Also in attendence will be Scott Thurman, director of acclaimed documentary The Revisionaries and intrepid student reporter Sophia Winkler of Sophia Investigates the Good News Club. Our lineup also includes Creation, Kūmāré, Ron Goes to Heaven, and The Magdalene Sisters. Click to view trailers and learn about these films!
Passes are on sale now–just $40 gets you in all six of these terrific features on Saturday, September 14th. For $65, in addition to an all-day pass you can also join us for the Directors’ Reception on lucky Friday, September 13th and meet our special guests in person while schmoozing with other festival attendees and local atheist notables. This party is a lot of fun, but don’t take our word for it–Greta Christina says the party is “always a blast: well worth it.”
Tickets for individual films will go on sale August 14th.
